TELT - Lot 1

TELT (Lyon–Turin Euralpine Tunnel) is a 57.5 km railway tunnel beneath the Alps, set to become the world’s longest. It is designed to shift freight transport from road to rail and reduce carbon emissions across Europe, as part of the European Union’s TEN-T Mediterranean Corridor.
Lot 1, executed by Eiffage and Spie Batignolles, covers a 22 km section of the base tunnel on the French side, connecting with the cross-border section and involving complex tunnelling and excavation works.

Ecluse II
Antwerp, Belgium
Ecluse II is a 1.3 km tunnel under the Schelde River (Antwerp). With the construction of this tunnel, energy can be supplied to businesses on the right bank of the river. This is an important step towards making the port's chemical industry more sustainable.
ECLUSE is an industrial steam network that harnesses energy from waste-to-energy plants and is the result of collaboration between private and public partners.

Gravdalen Hydro
Vestland, Norway
Entreprenørservice is responsible for excavating with a tunnel boring machine (TBM), drilling a 5-km supply tunnel for the Gravdalen hydropower plant located in Lærdal, Vestland (Norway).
As part of the project, they will also construct the access tunnel and assembly chamber required to operate the TBM.

Renewal of the Sewerage Network of the Turin Metropolitan Area
The main tunnel, with a diameter of 3.2 meters and a length of 9,200 meters, is constructed using TBM/EPB technology.
Service tunnels are bored using micro tunnelling (1.6 m diameter and 2,400 m length) and traditional methods (same diameter and 880 m length).
The entire project extends approximately 14 km along the city of Turin.
