DevOps Engineer / DevOps Automation Expert
TCOMET offers a great opportunity for the right candidates to join their Software Development team working on comprehensive monitoring solutions for some of the largest tunneling projects in the world in Spain, UK, Norway and Peru.
The selected candidate will be integrated into our highly experienced team in developing and supporting the software part of the TCOMET systems. This software and systems provide communications, real-time location and environmental monitoring in tunneling and mining projects. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the automation of the deployment, configuration, monitoring and optimization of the developed software and the underlying infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will Integrate into the Software Development team and learn in depth the TCOMET solutions implemented in the projects both at a technical level and at a user level, knowing the use that is made of the TCOMET solutions.
- Contribute your experience in the design and implementation of automated pipelines that allow the deployment, configuration and monitoring of the software.
- Participate in the development and improvement of the quality of the software in any part of the platform: web interface, web services or software deployed on IoT devices.
- Collaborate in the administration, maintenance and optimization of systems and networks.
- The work will be carried out at TCOMET’s offices in Ponferrada
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
- More than 5 years of experience in software development.
- More than 2 years of experience in:
- Administration and monitoring of Linux-based infrastructures.
- Management and configuration of Cloud infrastructures
- Administration of virtualized systems and containers. o Management and configuration of SQL and NOSQL databases
- Management and use of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) systems.
- Design and management of automated DevOps pipelines.
- Advanced knowledge in some of the following technologies: o Web service development with NodeJS or PHP (Laravel).
- IoT application development with Node-RED… or Web de-velopment using frameworks (Ionic, Angular).
- High level of English (minimum B2 or equivalent) with telephone communication skills.
- Motivation, learning ability, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative.
- High ability to solve problems
- Familiar with the use of agile methodologies.
